1. How did you meet your husband?
I moved into Nick’s single’s ward
here at BYU in Spring 2010. He was
friends with my roommate, so we naturally starting hanging out together. We started officially dating in July,
got engaged in December, and were married in April 2011.
2. Are you in school? Working? Graduated? A
mother? On the job hunt? All of
the above?
I just graduated from BYU with a
nursing degree. I’m not registered
yet, but plan on being licensed and working in California when Nick and I move
there this fall (he was just accepted to grad school in LA).
3. What is your comfort food?
Homemade macaroni and cheese,
followed by a big bowl of ice cream for dessert!
4. If you taught a class what would you teach
about?
Being a nurse, I am very
interested in health! I actually
would love to become a nurse educator someday. So, I would teach about health promotion—anything from
vaccination education to CPR and First Aid. This is great information that everyone in the general
public should have a basic knowledge of (plus I think it’s great “future mom” stuff
for women our age to know).
5. What would you do with a million dollars?
Have a little fun spending it J a new car, nice
camera, take my whole family on an awesome vacation. But then, paying for my husband’s grad school, set up good
savings funds for our future kids, and maybe setting up a foundation of some
kind for disease research. I am
really interested in allergies, so something related to that would be
amazing.
6. Who is your celebrity crush (before you
were married of course J)
I cannot lie, I have always found
Zac Efron extremely good looking!
7. What was your favorite wedding present you
received?
I love our homemade gifts—my dad
built us a clock, which is tradition for me and my two sisters. My sister-in-law made us this beautiful
quilt from all of the fabric we used at our wedding reception from tablerunners
and banners.
8. What is your ideal date night?
Great, easy conversation and
something yummy to go along with it!
Some of my favorite dates with Nick have been simple activities but we
have a blast because of the wide array of various fun things we talk about.
9. Favorite book?
Ooo such a hard question! I’d probably have to go with “The Help”
or “Tuck Everlasting”.
10. Dream Vacation?
Disneyland Paris J I have been to Disney
World/Disneyland probably about 20 times, my family and I are pretty serious
Disney people. But I always wanted
to go to Europe, so why not combine the two?
