Tyler and I met while serving missions in Toulouse, France. We became friends and began dating…after the mission…and he proposed to me one year later over skype ☺. The rest is life as we know it!
2. Are you in school? Working? Graduated? A mother? On the job hunt? All of the above?
I am currently a graduate student getting a master’s degree in International Affairs and Global Enterprise; I am also doing a graduate internship at the Provo City Mayor’s Office. I love both.
3. What is your comfort food?
Definitely ice cream. Ice cream with substance to it.
4. If you taught a class what would you teach about?
I’d teach about books or travel or international relations. I will also be honest, I love being a relief society teacher.
5. What would you do with a million dollars?
Invest! After going on a little shopping spree of clothes and household goods.
6. Who is your celebrity crush (before you were married of course ☺)?
Brad Pitt.
7. What was your favorite wedding present you received?
This is tough! Probably a gift certificate to my aunt’s antique store in Spanish Fork. We got some awesome things from that!
8. What is your ideal date night?
Probably a daytime activity out in the sunshine—tennis, hiking, biking—followed by fine dining or exotic cuisine and Coldstone to go and be eaten in the comfort of our own home.
9. Favorite book?
The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho or The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas are both enduring favorites. I’m rather obsessed with reading.
10. Dream Vacation?
Backpacking in Southeast Asia with Ty.
